THE MASTER CLEANSE DIET RECIPE

THE MASTER CLEANSE DIET RECIPE

Having trouble losing weight? Feeling depressed? Fatigued? Your body screams for a detox! At least, according to The Master Cleanse Diet Recipe proclaimers. This detox formula includes removal of any kind of solid food from your menu for minimum of 10 days. To give promised results, it has to be followed very strictly.

The most important part of it is the Lemonade Phase. Over this specific period of time, several times a day or whenever you’re hungry, you drink only lemonade made of freshly squeezed lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and filtered water.

All ingredients should be organic to avoid putting any heavy metals or other toxins into the body. Drinking alcohol is obviously forbidden too. To that routine, you may add water with salt in the morning (on an empty stomach) to stimulate bowel movements and some herbal laxatives at the end of the day to facilitate the detox process.

Can I jump in just like that? Without the preparation?

To prepare your body for detox and fasting, you should eliminate unhealthy foods at least 3 days before the diet. Then you can move on to the Easy-In Phase.

  • On Day 1 you limit your food to vegetables, fruit, and whole grains.
  • During Day 2 you consume only liquid foods such as broths, fruit, and vegetable juices.
  • During Day 3 you stick only to orange juice.
  • After such a procedure, you can start the main phase.
  • After finishing the Lemonade Phase, I’d recommend doing the same procedure as before: starting from orange juice, then add soups and juices before you get back to the solid foods to avoid fast weight regaining.

What about possible side effects?

I think that the main advantage of this system is rapid weight loss, convenience, and time-and money-saving – you don’t need a wide range of products and there’s no need to spend hours in the kitchen cooking sophisticated meals. However, you need to prepare yourself to spend some time on frequent visits to the toilet, especially after having salt with water in the morning. The idea of the diet is very simple, however, following it may not be easy.

The Master Cleanse Diet followed temporarily, is a great way to improve your health boost your energy levels, and drop a few pounds. It gives your digestive system rest.

Unfortunately, it may result in some unpleasant side effects like nausea, dizziness, fatigue, especially at the beginning. With time, you should feel better, vital, happy, and more energized. Used long-term, Master Cleanse can be potentially harmful as it’s low in vitamins, minerals, fiber, proteins, healthy fats and causes muscle tissue loss.

Additionally, some dietitians say that there’s no scientific proof for reaping the health benefits of a detox. According to them, you can’t purify your body through diet– your liver, lungs, and skin do it for you. Another drawback of The Master Cleanse Diet is the fact that a very limited amount of calories hinders exercising. And as we all know, the workout routine stimulates metabolisms and saves from muscle tissue loss.
